New Campfire Site

We have a wonderful camp fire site nestled in the woods where our guests are challenged and recharge spiritually through the ministry of gifted speakers. We have labored to create a relaxing campfire experience for our guests which will provide the great atmosphere which you have grown to love at Word of Life, where families and individuals are making lifelong commitments to Jesus Christ. With its easy access and gentle grade, this site will provide accessibility for our guests of all ages.  With the beauty of an Adirondack summer sunset as your backdrop, you will be able to relax and enjoy the ministry of God's Word!

Picnic Grove Walkways and Grill Pavilion

We have beautiful new walkways throughout our Picnic Grove. These pathways will allow guests to walk on dry ground from the bookstore to the snack shack and to our recreation areas during the fiercest Adirondack afternoon storm. Coupled with these is our grill area, enabling our food service staff to provide for your needs and an food line that will allow you to breeze through even during our busiest meals.  We take our Thursday ‘Steak Night’ to a whole new level!

Children’s Wading Pool

No worrying about the big kids! No concern for young toddlers and preschoolers not being able to stand in the shallow end of our pool!  You will not have to wait to get your little ones in on the wet summer fun! To the glory of God, we have constructed a children’s wading pool, a circular, zero entry pool for the youngest of our guests. Mom, you will enjoy basking in the Adirondack sunshine while your little one is safe in our wading pool, custom built just for you. Big kids, this is great news for you also.  This pool will relieve crowding in our large pool while making certain you will never wait in line again.  Can’t wait to see all of you enjoying this in 2010!
